Ahhh omg yes! Fic rec accounts my beloved! I'm not too familiar with the Twitter ones (LOL rip Twitter), but the few I follow on tumblr are pretty active and well organized. And oooh interesting question about naming conventions! The ones I follow have fandom-themed names (for example, the Good Omens one I follow is called Aziraphale's Library, which I think is so cute!! T_T), but I think a bunch are the ship name + "recs" or something similar? I've also followed Inevitably Johnlocked since the golden days of superwholock (MAN that was a while back XD), so that one pops up on my dash often.

And ooooh I read your post - totally agree!! Fic recs and fic reccers are rare these days - I will still look up "ship name + fic rec" when I first get into a pairing, and I've found as time goes on that those lists get older and older/more out of date T_T I'm also not a huge fan of the shift to Discord - I just can't keep up with all the channels, and stuff gets buried so fast! Actually these days the best place for fic recs that I've found is in other people's AO3 bookmarks? Which reminds me I should really go through and tag my bookmarks, but...*looks at 1800+ bookmarks* yeah okay that might have to be a long-term project XD But oooh thanks for reccing recthething - I'm subscribed to them but haven't looked too closely yet, and from their tags it looks like they have a lot of stuff I would like! :3
